Because this wonderful region, visited every years by countless tourists, has truly in store so many treasures to be discovered, particularly along the coastal stretch facing onto the Ligurian Gulf.
The chamr of this town is not just about nature. Since 2008, Borgio Verezzi has been listed in the Club of “Borghi più Belli d’Italia(Italy’s most Beautiful Vllages) and in that of “Perle di Liguria(Ligurian Pearls). Perched on Opera hill, it consists of four wonderful hamlets from which it is possible to enjoy a fabulous view of the Ligurian Gulf. A visit to the marvelous “Saracen” village with its typical pink-stone buildings is definitely a must.

Near the historical village of Borgio are Grotte Valdemino (Valdemino Caves) with their incredible stalactites which defy gravity.  Open to the public since 1970, today they can be visited every day except on Mondays. An adventure path inside the caves has recently been opened for the brave.
Among the most recommended destinations, particularly for those who love breathtaking panoramas, are Verezzi and some nearby historic villages of an unmatched beauty like Finalborgo, listed in the already mentioned Club “Borghi più Belli d’ Italia” characterized by wonderful 5th century and Renaissance buildings, Noli, an ancient Maritime Republic, Spotorno and Savona.

Those who love art should not miss a visit to Albissola, renowned for its ceramic handicrafts and Altare, where, inside a beautiful Liberty-style villa.  you will find Museo dell’Arte Vetraia which safeguards the ancient tradition of ceramic processing whose practice has begun here in the Middle Ages.
After these amusing trips, it is time to enjoy a bit of relax under your sun umbrella: after all, you’re on holiday! The campsite lies just 400 meters from the sea and can be reached on foot after a few-minute stroll.
